If you really went to a doctor and had a unknown substance with negative effects in your system like in the story, then the doctor by law in most 1st world country's would have to quarantine your ass/call their version of the CDC and determine if your contagious or not.

I really thought the guy in the beginning was cool, and sort of what id like to turn out as. As it progressed to the transformation, i got really sad and pissed off that this guy so easily gave in.
