"What kind of creature are you?"

"I was created by Shaella, The Goddess of Evil, Death and Destruction. I was made from her blood, which makes me part Rahkshasa and part Succubus, just like Shaella. She infused me with her essence and memories so I could accomplish an important mission for her as an extension of herself; as an Avatar."

"What was your mission?"

"I was sent to a dimension where Shaella had no deific influence to find and recover my daughter," Shadyss shook her head. "I mean her daughter. Having Shaella's memories made things strange between us after I found her and she ended up considering me more of a mother than Shaella ever was. It is a very long story."

"I'm sure you can tell me everything about it someday, but I need to get back to town now and having a Demonic looking creature by my side isn't what I would call low profile." Wasp pulled the Tablet out from her pocket and read the name out loud "Shadyss-Mikaellaïnalla!"

*

'I hate it here, why did she have to send me back? It feels like I've been here for months and I know it's only been hours. It's so hard to keep track of time... I did have a good time though. Those two men... they felt so good inside me I wish I'd taken another round. I should have drained their souls while I had a chance since she made me kill them anyways. At least I could have gotten even more pleasure from all this. Damn, why did she make me kill them? Why am I locked in this Tablet? Whoever put me here had a cruel sense of humor. Can't wait to break free of this curse and find out who did this to me. Could it be Lilith? No. Why would she do this to me? I'm not even sure she'd have the power to do it, unless Saïna helped. No. Saïna wouldn't do this and she's not cruel enough for this. Shaella maybe? Yes. It has to be. She's punishing me for what I did. She has the power and the motive to put me in here. Destroying me wouldn't be as fun... I should know. I know how you think Shaella. You can end this little game. Let me out! ... ... ... of course she wouldn't let me out. Damned Tablet, when will I be summoned out again? I feel like I've been here for a year. Is this girl ever going to summon me again? Why did she have to send me back? I did have a good time though...'

Her body appeared for a third time. The pain of having her molecules reformed was bearable but still unpleasant. Wasp was already far ahead, running in a high grass field in the middle of the day as if her life depended on it. "Kill the guards!" Wasp said. "Kill them all!"

Shadyss turned to see three men on horseback running in her direction; one archer ahead of two heavily armored knights. She drew her claws out and jumped into the air. She dashed towards the first rider as he shot an arrow. She tilted sideways with the flap of her right wing to avoid the arrow and slashed the archer's throat open as their paths crossed. The knights lowered their long horsemen spears as they moved closer together. She swooped down, grazing the grass to close the distance and pitched her wings at the last moment to fly up. Her body followed the two spears like a launching ramp but one spear ripped through her left foot. She gasped, but it wasn't enough to stop her.

She heaved both knights off their saddles by the rim of their helmet as she flew straight up. 'My toes will grow back fast enough,' she thought.

The knights wiggled futilely as she continued to gain altitude, probing the grassland below. 'No other guards in sight,' she thought. 'I'm about to reach the limit of my leash. Mission accomplished... almost.' She teleported to Wasp and bowed her head slightly. "Mission accomplishes Mistress, in 3... 2... 1...," she said as the two knights crumpled on the ground as they landed.

Wasp pulled the Tablet out of her bag and read the magic word carved on it. "Shadyss-Mikaellaïnalla!"

*

'What the hell is wrong with this girl? Why can't she keep me out there? I could keep her safe instead of having to save her ass at the last moment. Alone again in this stupid Tablet! Who put me in there anyways? ... oh enough with that again. I feel like I've been wondering and thinking the same thing over and over again a million time...'

"Spare the boy. Kill them all," Wasp said before Shadyss could speak. The girl was pointing at a small group of people sitting in front of a campfire near the river.

Shadyss appeared directly in the fire and massacred all ten of them reluctantly, yet swiftly. 'Drifters,' Shadyss thought. She didn't fight against her orders so she could retain control of her body, but she hated killing those people. She grabbed two boys from underneath a carriage and walked back to her Mistress. "I'd like to spare the boy mistress, but which is it?" she said, holding the boys by their necks.

Wasp examined them as they struggled pointlessly to break free of Shadyss's supernaturally strong grip.

"I'd say this is the one I'm looking for, but it seems they have changed their clothes to trick me," she said. "Which one of you is Jaron's son?"

"I am," both boys said in harmony.

Wasp punched the first one in the face before jamming her elbow in the second one's stomach. "I don't really want to drag two idiots for days, so unless I hear the truth from either, I'm going to torture you both until I get my answer."

"Would you like me to read their minds Mistress?" Shadyss said.

"You can do that?"

"I can do a lot of things."

"Read their minds and find out which one is Jaron's son," Wasp said.

'Please don't kill him,' the first boy thought.

'I'm so screwed,' the other boy thought.

"This one is Jaron's son," Shadyss said, moving the second one closer to Wasp.

"Hand him to me and kill the other."

Shadyss growled from the sudden pain caused by her reluctance to murder an innocent boy, flinching slightly as she released Jaron's son to Wasp. "Please reconsider Mistress," she hissed as her claws started to dig into the first boy's flesh.

"All right, stop," Wasp said, grabbing Jarson's boy before he could run off. "Why should I reconsider?"

She pulled her claws out and released the boy. "I already told you the reason Mistress. I'm not a murderer and I dislike killing innocent people, especially kids. So I humbly ask that you do not make me kill innocent people."

"What's your name?"

"My name is Shadyss," Shadyss said scratching her head. "But I already told you my name."

"Your purpose is to do as I say. Don't question me ever again."

"Yes Mistress, as you wish." Shadyss said, bowing her head. "Can I offer a suggestion then?"

"Go ahead," Wasp said crossing her arms.

"I have reason to believe you're afflicted with memory disorder," Shadyss said. "I suggest you let me try and cure you."

"I don't have memory disorder!" Wasp said as she drew the Tablet out.

"Please Mistress, let me help you."

"Shadyss-Mikaellaïnalla!"

*

I hate this damned Tablet... Why did she cast me back in again...

*

Shadyss materialized one foot above water. It was storming, the rain was pouring heavily and the water was agitated. There was no one in sight, no shore, nothing but the faints and distant lights of what appeared to be a sail boat. 'Whoever used the Tablet to summon me must be underwater right now,' she thought, 'or maybe even drowning. What if it's not the same girl? What if the bottom is deeper than a thousand feet?' Shadyss shivered at the thought of drowning along with the pain from her invisible leash and dove into the water.

Her supernatural flight thankfully worked underwater as well, helping to propel her like a torpedo as she looked for her Mistress. The water was murky, but she could still see enough to find a sinking mass that was shaped like a female girl attached to a heavy rock. She sliced the rope with her sharp claw, grabbed Wasp and flew back up hastily.

Wasp inhaled deeply as soon as her head poked out of the water, clinging to Shadyss. "Holy knife of Seven," she said a moment later. "Thank you so much Shadyss. I couldn't hold anymore with this rock at my ankle. You saved me! Thank you!"

"You're welcome, but how can you remember my name now and you didn't the last time you summoned me?"

"I will explain later," Wasp said. "I'm getting cold here. Bring me back to the boat if you can find it."

Shadyss looked around to try and find the boat. It was hard to see its light, but it was still there. She carried her Mistress for a long moment before catching up with it. The crew was running in every direction to try and keep the boat afloat in the storm and no one noticed them landing on the rear balcony of the Captain's quarters.

Wasp hurried inside the cabin as soon as her feet touched the floor. She grabbed a blanket and wrapped it around her body. "You can shrink to fit in this room now," she said, her teeth shattering. "The Captain will pay for throwing me overboard."

"You must have done something to be thrown off like this," Shadyss said as she reduced her size and walked in.

"I didn't do anything. It wasn't me. They just think it was me, but they don't understand."

"Ahh!" Shadyss said, nodding her head. "I think I understand now."

"What is it you think you understand?"

"You suffer from multiple personalities."

"You're wrong. I'm not insane, I'm being possessed by a demon," Wasp said.

"You should undress under that blanket if you want to get warm," Shadyss said.

Wasp nodded and began to undress. "It started happening about a year ago after I visited the ruins of Fyran. I killed a demon there but I think he didn't really die and now he possesses me sometimes. The captain didn't believe me."

The door opened and a tall muscular man stepped in. "What are you doing in my room?"

"This must be the Captain," Shadyss thought, moving aside to let him see her naked Mistress.

"I flew back," Wasp said, wrapping the blanket around her again. "No thanks to you, I was lucky this wonderful creature passed by and rescued me."

"I don't care how lucky you were," the Captain said. "This is my ship and I threw you overboard to die. Now I'll have to kill you myself!" He drew a large dagger and lunged at Wasp.

Shadyss didn't react. Wasp span out of the blanket as the Captain poked a hole in it. She grabbed his arm in the process and twisted it around his back. The Captain fell to his knee before her with his arm locked. He immediately dropped the dagger.

"I don't want to hurt you," Wasp said, pushing him away before picking up the dagger.

The man stood with his fist clenched before his face, ready to fight.

"I told you it wasn't me," she said, holding the dagger by its blade and offering it to him. "I was possessed and I'm sorry for what that demon did while in control of my body. I'm trying to make it to Praxion to be cured. Will you let me?"

The Captain stared for a moment before taking the dagger. "Fair enough, but if you kill another one of my crewmen," he said. "I will slit your throat and then throw you overboard." He sheathed his dagger. "And someone will have to pay for this extra passenger." He pointed at Shadyss.

"You already took all my gold," Wasp said. "I'd like all my things back and she won't stay on the boat so don't worry."

"I'll return your things only after we dock in Praxion," the Captain said. 'If you make it there alive,' he thought. "Now, Stay here, I must return to my men!"

Shadyss sighed. 'I hate her for making me kill those innocent drifters, but a demonic possession doesn't make it her fault after all. Maybe I should give her another chance.' She picked up the blanket and wrapped it around Wasp as the Captain walked out, grumbling about not getting his wine because of that stupid girl.

"I read his mind and he intends to kill you Mistress," Shadyss said.

"Damn him," Wasp said. "We can't kill him until we reach shore. How long can you remain summoned?"

"I don't know."

"It's time to find out," Wasp said, skipping in the Captain's hammock. "I need to sleep. Make sure no one kills me and find a way to make sure I wake up if you disappear."

"I think the best way to achieve that would be to snuggle with you," Shadyss said. "I wouldn't be able to wake you up if I disappeared instantly and without warning. You'd miss my warmth and be moved enough to wake up if I vanished while we snuggle in this hammock."

"Fine... Sounds good, it'll keep me warm at the same time. Hop in, but don't use your pheromone thing. I need to sleep."

Shadyss wrapped her arms around her Mistress as they settled in the hammock. Wasp buried her face into Shadyss's breast and fell asleep almost instantly.

It took a few hours before the storm settled and the boat stopped rocking. The Captain walked into his cabin and looked at them with a snarl. Shadyss stared at him with a mocking grin. "I'd advise against it if you value your life," she said, whispering as the Captain reached for his dagger.

"I need my hammock," the Captain said loudly. 'I think I'll have my way with her and then throw them to the men so they can as well. Then I toss them to the sharks,' he thought.

"Sleep with your crewmen and lower your tone," Shadyss said. "I will not allow you to do anything to her. I advise you back off."

"I didn't say anything," the Captain said as he thought of his next move.

"No, but you thought about it -- and no you can never be fast enough to kill me even if you pretend to fetch your book from the desk behind me."

The Captain walked away mumbling and plotting multiple ways to kill them both before wondering how she knew what he was going to do. She had, but although the temptation was strong, she didn't feel the need to antagonize him more.

Wasp woke up abruptly a few hours later and tried to move away from Shadyss in vain. "Let me go! Let me go!"

Shadyss didn't hold her much and tried her best to let her go, but the hammock was holding them close together and it took a moment for Wasp to realize it. "Go away!" She said.

Shadyss teleported in the middle of the room. The hammock flipped and Wasp fell on the floor.

"What were you doing there?" Wasp said as she stumbled back on her feet.

"I was keeping your warm Mistress."

"How long before we arrive to Praxion?"

"I don't know Mistress. Would you let me use my powers to examine you?"

"No!" Wasp shuffled through her clothes, grabbed the Tablet and moved to look outside. "Storm's passed... good!"

"Please Mistress, don't send me away."

"I don't need you anymore. Shadyss-Mikael-"

The Captain stormed into the room with a mob of his men. "Grab them and tie them up," he said, pointing his dagger at Wasp. The mob launched towards them with knives and daggers.

"Kill-" Wasp grunted as a seamen tackled her down. The Tablet flung out of her hand and slid under the Captain's desk.

Shadyss dodged a first man trying to tackle her and knocked another one out with a solid slap in the face.

Wasp screamed through a tissue that was shoved into her mouth while six men pinned her down. 'I could help,' Shadyss thought. She hammered one of the men on his head as he tried to attack her, knocking him out cold after a loud and unnatural crack coming from his neck. 'He won't live for long,' she thought.

Wasp was still pinned by all those men and the Captain moved to straddle her.

'I could just watch... Maybe she can get out herself,' Shadyss thought. 'She didn't tell me to do anything except to make sure no one killed her. Maybe she'll understand how miserable her life can be if she doesn't have my full cooperation.' She grabbed a seaman's wrist as he tried to stab her and spun him around her head before tossing him into his comrades. "Tell your men to stop! I won't hurt anyone if they don't attack me," she said.

It took a few more unsuccessful stabs and punches before the rest of the seamen stopped attacking with eight of their comrades lying unconscious on the floor. The Captain was on his knee between Wasp's legs with his pants unlaced. "I'm going to teach you a lesson to carry along with you in your next life," he said, oblivious that his men had failed to capture Shadyss.

"Hey!" Shadyss said.

The Captain looked at her. "I'll rip your dick off if you touch her!" -- 'I can't let him rape her like this even if I don't like her.'

A man tried to stab Shadyss while she appeared to be distracted, but she grabbed his wrist before he could reach her and snapped it like a twig. The man squealed in pain and fell to his knee before she knocked him out with the back of her hand. "Anyone else?"

Everyone shook their heads, all terrified except the Captain who only appeared to be shaken.

"Keep holding her down and let me see if she's really being possessed by a demon," Shadyss said.

The Captain nodded in nervous obedience to his men and everyone held Wasp down firmly.

Shadyss muttered a spell to detect possession and there it was; a powerful glowing spirit deep within Wasp. She detected a faint line connecting Wasp to a small bag resting on the Captain's desk. "Was this pouch hers," she asked, pointing at the bag.

"Yes it was, but now it's mine," the Captain said.

"Don't be so quick to say that; it seems the possessing entity comes from that pouch." She grabbed the pouch and followed the line to a small figurine that looked like a chess game king holding a sword downward. She moved next to Wasp and placed the figurine on her chest. The seamen and the Captain watched without interfering, but she could catch all of their thoughts of uncertainty and fear. Most of the men were praying that the Captain wouldn't order them to attack again. Some even thought that if he did, they'd rather jump off the ship than attack her. The Captain thought about multiple ways to get rid of her so that he could teach Wasp a lesson, but he couldn't seem to set his mind on any specific way. Not that any had much chance of success, but Shadyss grinned at his ingenuity.

The figurine had no effect. "Touch isn't the trigger," she said. "Something has to initiate the swap back."

"Let me have my way with her and we'll see if it works," The Captain said.

Wasp growled through her gag and struggles suddenly to try and break free, but the men held her tight.

"Did you rape her the last time before you threw her overboard?"

"No but I sure as hell scared the shit out of her," he said. "Let's see if that evil bitch spirit enjoys the ride." His pants dropped, exposing his erected shaft as he reached to rub his thumb between Wasp legs.

'I can't have that again, no please don't rape me. I will be good,' Wasp thought. 'I can't endure that once more.'

"It's working," Shadyss said. "Fear would have worked, but I guess this will have to do for now."

The Captain laughed madly. He grabbed her hips with one hand and his dick with the other, rubbing it at Wasp's pussy and about to push his hips forward when the spirit fled Wasp's body to return in the figurine.

Shadyss shoved the Captain away with her foot. "It worked, the spirit has left."

"Damn you! I was enjoying myself!" The Captain stumbled back on his feet and pulled his pants up.

"Please Mistress, don't order me to kill these men yet," Shadyss said. "Nod if you agree."

Wasp nodded.

"Release her," Shadyss said.

"Do not release her," The Captain said as the seamen loosened their grip but immediately secured her back. "I listened to you but now you have to listen to me," he said. "This is my ship and I'm the Captain here, not you! I will have her throat slit if you don't back off." He gestured at the man holding Wasp's head.

The man drew his knife out and placed it at Wasp's throat.

Shadyss sighed. "I've been merciful until now. I have the strength of twenty men and I have supernatural powers beyond your comprehension so don't test me. I haven't killed any of your men so far... except maybe one," she looked at the man she hammered on the head. He was still unconscious and she could sense the life fleeting him. "He'll die soon if no one attends to his concussion. My point is... I will rip that man's head right off if he doesn't put his knife away from her neck this second."
