But I do believe this was not the central theme
of the movie! I did like your story though
I've never seen the movie but the concept is a neat one. IMO, well (re)written and a well told story. Only critique would be it seemed a bit choppy at points, but I can see where that would happen changing from a movie to a story.
Very interesting in a late 30's setting - well before your and my time huh.

I really like your innovation and the way you move factually and economically through issues. You mix fantasy, style and life in a respectful way - in most cases. Personally I like you in a more realistic venue - its credible.

Thanks Author - you are appreciated with exception of the odd klinker.

With High Regard
Acceptable honorable, functional, A very nice approach to the problem. Ann could have what she deserved and no more - losing her birthright is a bit much though.
Of course I am as consistent as you my friend -
Despite what our children do with their lives we own them and they remain ours as long as we live. We love them, cherish them, correct them and tolerate them - to a point. We do not HAVE to like them or what they do but they are ours period.
Ann is stupid, amoral for her time even and dishonest at a minimum, she is their daughter for all and ever - their other daughter after this story maybe but still - she is who she is.
BUT TAKING THE FLOCK WITH HIM IS STRANGE, tk u mlj lv nv
No
He cheated pure and simple. Afterwards he is also guilty. Should he not pay for playing!!???
