I love a good curse story, the fact that neither party really knows about the curse is nice layer.

It needs some work. It's a good premise, but it's full of small mistakes. Slow down next time, and proof read your work more carefully. Some sections seem a little rushed. Despite all that, it's an easy read. Keep writing.
