I can't believe that forms of the word 'deliver' perplexed you and remained incorrect thru the editing process. Someone who delivers is a 'delivery man or person' or more simply, a 'deliverer', NOT a 'deliver'. I wouldn't mention it but it is in the first paragraph and establishes the story.
