"Glad to hear. Get yourself some rest, you probably need it."
I nodded and watched him walk off. As he walked off, who should appear by the window, but Melodia herself. Our eyes met, and she put her hand against the glass. I gently put mine against hers. I smiled gently. I didn't know when she'd ever leave this place, but I said to her right there, unsure if she heard me or not, "I'll see you tonight, love...you're not alone anymore..."

kelknightabout 9 years agoI don't know what it is, but I've been having the damnedest time finding stories where the merfolk don't turn into humans in order to have sex. Congrats on actually writing the mermaid as a mermaid. 10/10 Would read again.
