Really enjoyed it, but it feels unfinished. I was expecting something along the lines of her waking up in her own bed, naked and with her arm bandaged, distraught at what she had lost. She was depressed for a while until a new cop transferred into her precinct, he looked almost exactly like Rory and when he looked at her, it was as if he recognised her. He was introduced as Gregory Frost, they met and talked, he was a descendant of Rory, they fell in love etc, etc, etc.

If you think about it, the boy, girl thing is just a change of perspective, it made complete sense to me when I read it. Maybe a division or some thing like +++ might help some people understand it better, but extremely well written, except for a few spelling mistakes. Thanks Boadicea for another good story.

The author seemed to be alternating between calling Kali her then him and then her again. I understand this was a way to highlight the initial confusion experienced by Rory, but it was clumsy, patently obvious, and utterly superfluous. Other lapses include:
