Seems rather fast-paced. I half-expected it to be a one-shot.

Also, the characters seem over the top somehow? The "I must have her at all costs!" attitude and lack of depth to the characters make it somewhat comedic to me.

No, I totally get what you mean when I reread it I got that take to. I'm only 18 and this is the first story I've written. I'm sure I'll develop better skills in time. :)

It moved a little too quickly for my tastes, with not enough depth into the characters and the countries, but for a first story it was rather good. Great job though!

It's a great start! I agree that it could use more substance but the ideas and plot are genuinely compelling. I can't wait to read more.

This story has an intriguing start and I'm looking forward to more. I find that the more grammatically accurate a piece is, the more a reader can enjoy it. There are a couple of things that I saw and wouId be more than happy to fix. If anyone wants an editor, feel free to shoot me a message.
