"I do need a summer job," I said.

I arrived back at the dorm late that evening. Kristy was sitting on my bed waiting for me. "You were gone all day!" she said. "Did you get the part?"
"No. I wasn't a good fit."
"Then what were you doing all this time?"
"Oh, um, I was applying for some other jobs."
"You look really tired. And you're limping! Are you okay?"
"I'm good. Really good. I think I'll go to bed now. G'night." Kristy got up but didn't leave my room. I collapsed onto my bed with a grateful sigh.
Kirsty studied me. "Fine. Don't tell me. See you in the morning." She stalked out.
I felt bad, but there was no way I could tell her what I'd been up to all day. I took the check from my pocket and held it up in front of my face. "Now that's a summer job," I said, and closed my eyes.

OGHMNWabout 6 years agoThis is a wonderful story as Jess truly needed the money and appears to not feel to bad about giving up her virginity. Also she used good business sense to get a better pay off for being in the movie. Really enjoyed reading this story.

Anonymousalmost 7 years agoShe seems too incredibly naive, though. And also not excited enough about losing her virginity. Most women seem more excited about that. And to do all this in front of a film crew and cameras; I would certainly be excited about that even though I am not a virgin. Now that I think about, I would love to do all this, though.
