Names help

The same thought struck me as I got confused towards the end. But I think not knowing the names somehow maintained the feeling of three almost anonymous people enjoying a sensuous moment. It forces the reader to concentrate on the moment. I'm at a loss for words here. Suffice to say, I think I liked it without names. The names are not important.
