We fucked most of the night and slept late the next morning. When we woke up, we fucked; put Torrie's clothes in the washing machine and fucked some more; put her clothes in the dryer and fucked again. She was in a pair of my pajamas with the legs and sleeves rolled up, ironing her jeans and blouse in the kitchen while I cooked breakfast.
"Jimmy," she said, "I've always loved you, but now I'm in love with you."
"I love you too, Torrie."
At that moment, I thought hard about what the future might hold for Torrie and me. I loved her and wanted her, but there were risks involved. Gene was going to be pissed for sure, but there wasn't much he could do, so fuck him. Not much risk there. My family was gonna be pissed, but they love Torrie and would get over it. No risk there. She is twenty years older than me, but hell, unless her health should go really bad, which can happen to anyone at any age, she was always gonna be sexy and good in bed. Not a great amount of risk there. She was very vulnerable to being seduced by another man. Someone else might get to her and fuck her one day, any day. It was a possibility, maybe even a probability. Hell, she might even leave me for him. I knew that I would worry about that every day for as long we were together. That was a certainty. The risk was great.
I evaluated the risk versus the reward as best I could without a crystal ball. The primary risk was that she will likely fuck someone else one day. The primary reward was that she will be in my bed every night and love me like no other.
"Torrie," I said, "will you move in and live with me?"

phill1cabout 6 years agoThe notion of burning a bitch because she betrayed a man seems very juvenile. I mean even more so than reading about it in stories and comments on stories. Here's why:
If a person decides to abuse your trust they suffer because they did it, not because they are punished for it. So, it's not up to 'the man' to punish 'the bitch'. The man learns his lesson and moves on positively. Willfully inflicting pain on another just diminishes the person inflicting the pain and further mires that person in the destructive attitudes he was seeking restitution for in the first place. It's way better, and mature, to move on--after forcefully ending the abuse.
I don't know, I just can't imagine being in the overwhelming majority of these stories. You know, where the guy just sits back passively and lets this shit happen to him. Who does that? Like who would let their wife go on a date after she says "I'm going on a date with 'Connie' ...don't wait up..."? What husband is NOT going to follow her to the date, find out who she's trying to fuck, and disrupt it somehow? I don't know, maybe there are heterosexual men who would sit at home and 'wait to gather more evidence" but, wow, I just can't see a heterosexual man acting that passively.
And, really, getting involved with a woman who can act in such a shallow manner really just says that you, the BTBer, chose very poorly and probably based solely on shallow, looks-based criteria. Own up to having made a mistake and move on. Don't be a child throwing a 'righteous' tantrum.
