Wild Flower Ch. 14

Josh was panicking because the situation was pretty different from what he had expected.

"With Lambert, we were able to do anything we wanted without fear of anyone." Josh added. "But right now, we are afraid of doing that because we have no connections. We used to appear in magazines and newspapers but now it's different."

Jack sighed, looking at his father in law. "You might be right, father but we shouldn't worry or lose hope. I am pretty sure that we will soon land a big catch." He smiled, assuring his accomplices. "I believe that a really powerful and influential company will partner with us. We will make billions even without Lambert or anyone else. We shouldn't fear."

Gabriel smiled at his husband and kissed him softly.

"You are right, baby. We've withstood many things and even destroyed our enemies." He smiled. "Nothing could go wrong. We were destined to be really rich and powerful."

They kissed.

"By the way," Josh cleared his voice. "I also heard that there is another businessman that has been for quite some time. I think... Antonio something."

Oh! These idiots didn't know Antonio was one of the men that had raped Miguel was Antonio. They had no idea he was one of them because he had been wearing a mask. They were definitely screwed because Miguel was coming for them next.

"I read about it days ago." Gabriel said, yawning. "But what should we care? He can die for all we care. The only one I am worried about is Lambert. We have no business with this Antonio guy."

If only these bitches knew then they would have been trembling.

"By the way," Jack cleared his voice. "Baby, I was actually thinking..." He placed his hand on Gabriel's chest, passing his hands on it. "...we haven't had a date in quite some time and I was thinking about it. I really miss having those fancy dates, just the two of us."

Gabriel looked at Jack and kissed him. Then he smiled and wrapped his arm around him. He looked at his father and he was smiling at him.

"You are absolutely right about this." Gabriel nodded, chuckling softly. "We are definitely going to have a romantic date one of these days."

"Thank you so much." Jack acted like a child, a really stupid child. "I love you."

"I love you too."

Just then, Alicia came to the living and she was looking sad as usual, missing Angelo even more. She was carrying some magazines that Jack had sent her to go and get a few minutes back. They had just arrived from where he had subscribed.

"Jack..."

"What the fuck?" Jack furiously got up, frowning at the woman. "How many times do I have to tell you not to call me by my name? Is it so hard to put that into your thick skull?"

Alicia felt angry. "I am sorry. I just brought the magazines you had asked for."

Jack furiously got the magazines from her, giving her a cold look. His body was trembling in anger and was dying to slap the bitch's face. He hated her so much.

"What about the food? Is it ready?"

"No!" Alicia said softly, shaking her head. "I was busy..."

"This is just great." Jack chuckled bitterly, throwing the magazines on the couch. "My husband and my father are hungry and I told you to prepare something hours ago when..."

"Baby?" Gabriel held his hand. "It's okay."

That was the first time Gabriel told Jack to stop and it surprised Alicia. He was supposed to be supporting him but he was stopping him. It was surprising.

"But my love," Jack complained. "I told..."

"It's fine." He looked at Alicia. "You may leave us."

Jack was really angry at the woman and Gabriel didn't need to defend her. He should have supported him instead of the old bitch. He hated her so much that she deserved nothing but death. If only he could send her to hell together with that foolish Angelo.

"Baby?" Gabriel took his hand and made him sit down. "Don't be angry. We are gonna wait. We are not that hungry, my love."

Jack gave a sigh, shaking his head. "It's just that she annoys me sometimes and I just hate her so much."

"It's okay." Gabriel kissed him on the lips softly. "Don't let her make you mad. I am here for you and I will always love you."

Jack smiled, rubbing on Gabriel's cheeks. He leaned down and kissed Gabriel's sweet lips. He loved him so much that he couldn't imagine life without him. He wanted to be with him for all eternity and in the next life. They were meant to be together.

With a soft chuckle, Jack took one magazine from the couch and slowly opened it. It was a magazine which was talking about the trends in St Luis, especially the business world.

Jack opened the magazine and once his eyes just set on the first page... He just froze. His eyes widened and his heart began racing. His body started vibrating and his breaths became a little harsh. He started reading the article and he just got more surprised.

He raised his head and looked at his husband in shock. Gabriel on the other hand got a little surprised when he saw that look on his face. It was as if something bad had happened. He got a little scared and moved closer to Jack.

"Baby?" He cupped his cheeks, bringing his face closer. "What's wrong?"

"Err..." He shook his head, looking at the magazine again. "I am just surprised at this article I am reading in this magazine."

"What?"

"Yes!" he shook his head. "It is talking about La don and the multibillion building he's constructing right here in St Luis."

"La don?" Josh gasped, looking at his son in law. "He's in the magazine again?"

"Yes!" he shook his head. "I am actually reading about it right now?"

"Hmm," Josh sighed, shaking his head. "He is the talk of the town nowadays. It seems he's rising quicker than anyone else. At first no one knew of him and now everyone is talking about him." Josh sounded a little pissed.

"You are absolutely right." Gabriel frowned, trying to think clearly. "And to actually think that he hasn't been in the country for more than four months. He's drastically rising to the surface. He's becoming more influential as days go by."

Jack felt a little jealous at the rate at which everything was moving. "I never actually thought he'd become this powerful. Almost every article in newspapers and magazines are about him."

"Hmm, judging at the type of people he deals with... I wouldn't be surprised." Gabriel smiled, rubbing on Jack's shoulders.

"But..." Josh chuckled. "Isn't that boy your friend?"

Jack looked at his father in law and nodded. "He is but the truth is that I can't get through to him. When I call his him, it doesn't go through. When I call the office he is always busy. He's just been here for a short time and his wealth and influence has shot to the sky. I wonder how he does it."

Jack couldn't believe again that Miguel had become really powerful and influential, more than him. It somehow brought some jealous into him. Fuck! If only he could partner with him and got his secret. Then it was gonna be good for him.

"Don't worry." Gabriel kissed Jack. "I am sure we are still richer than him."

He held his husband tightly and kissed him.

Gabriel and his family might have thought they were still comfortable and happy but what they had no idea of was that Miguel was the boy they had created years ago. He was gonna come for them real soon and was gonna kill them all.

It was gonna be a blood bath. Every idiot has its day on earth, right?

The car arrived and parked right in front of the huge company. Christian and his friend had arrived and they were busy looking all around. They had arrived in Sumitria and were at Antonio's company. They wanted to find out the truth once and for all.

Christian quickly took a bag from the back seat and got out his shades to disguise himself. He wore them and they looked really wonderful on him, sexy as usual. He looked at his friend and he was just as surprised as him.

"Let's go." Christian said, trying to open the door before George stopped him.

"I think we should find another way to get in."

"No!" Christian shook his head. "This is the only way. We don't need to break in like criminals."

"Okay." He sighed, raising his hands. "Let's go but follow behind."

The two men got out of the car and started going towards the company. It wasn't long before they met with a beautiful woman who Christian believed was the secretary. But the last time he had come, he hadn't met the woman so he took off his shades and breathed. He whispered to his friend that they didn't have to worry because she wasn't gonna recognize him.

"Excuse me, gentlemen?" The secretary said, looking at the two of them. "How can I help you? Who are you looking for here?"

"Oh!" George chuckled, giving her that gorgeous smile of his. "We are technicians who came to check out a problem." He lied, still smiling.

"A problem?" The secretary exclaimed, raising her eyebrow. "Well..."

"Err... what about the other receptionist?" he asked.

"Err... I don't know her." The woman said. "I only started working here recently."

"Yeah," Christian pointed at her, smiling as brightly as ever. "It's no wonder you don't know about this. You weren't there when they made the appointment."

"Oh!" She apologized. "I am so sorry about this. I am truly, truly sorry. Please, come with me."

Christian knew he was gonna get closer to the truth once he got into the room. It wasn't long before the secretary brought them to camera room where they found a guy who was like a guard, standing there. The secretary left them with him.

Christian and his friend lied to the guard about who they were and although the guy grilled them a little, they still cooked up more lies and he finally let them inside to find out if what they had told was true. Christian's heart was racing and he was feeling a little scared as he looked around the room. He looked at his friend and the both of them looked really nervous. He was just hoping they were gonna find the evidence they needed in that room.

When they entered the room, the guy found out that there was a problem with the archives. He looked at them and excused himself, leaving them all alone. The guy told them he had gone to check where the problem was.

"This is it." Christian said softly, looking at the devices in that room. "We have to find out quickly."

The guys went to the computers and they started searching for the right video. Christian was just hoping he was gonna find a video to give him some clue as to what had happened to the bastard.

"Has Alejandro called you today?" Miguel asked his lawyer.

"Yes!" Brandon answered with a sigh. "He said that he has everything under control. He is gonna handle everything for you."

"Yeah..." Miguel sounded not so sure. "He better do it and that bastard better accept my offer because I am running out of patience." He snarled.

"Don't worry about anything." Brandon chuckled happily. "I trust Alejandro to handle this matter."

Miguel nodded and then sat quietly, looking through a magazine of himself and the projects he was dealing with. Hmm, the media had become really interested in him. He loved it so much. His power, money and influence got stronger every day. He knew what he was gonna do after dealing with his rapists. He was just hoping his stupid betrayer of a friend, husband and his family's murderer were ready for him because he had something harsh for them. It was just two rapists and he was gonna be done with it.

Miguel dropped the magazine and took up his phone. He looked at it and when he saw the time, he got a really strong urge to call Christian. He hadn't heard from him that day and he needed to hear his voice and maybe meet up with him after his work. He needed to kiss him and just lie in his big strong arms for some hours.

Miguel smiled as he opened his phone. He quickly dialed Christian's number and it wasn't long before he heard his phone ringing.

"Hello!" Christian answered happily.

"Hey!" Miguel's happiness was overflowing. "How are you today?"

"I am okay."

"Yes! But you haven't called me today. Do you now hate me?"

"No!" Christian moved away from the computer, leaving his friend. "You know I wouldn't do that to you. It would mean the death of me, baby."

"Hmm," Miguel moaned, licking his lips. All this time Brandon's heart was about to explode. "I haven't heard from you whole day. I have been expecting you calls but you chose to keep me waiting." Then he smiled, taking a sigh of relief. "I would like to see you because I am missing you terribly. I am just doing some things right now but can we meet afterwards?"

"Oh shit!" Christian gripped his hair, trying to think what to do. Fuck! He couldn't believe he wasn't gonna see Miguel when he wanted him. It somehow hurt him so much.

"I am sorry, baby." He said in his apologetic voice. "I am truly sorry. I would have loved to tend to you right now but I cannot. I am doing something." He was sad.

"What?" Miguel lost the smile, moving his eyes from side to side. "What are you doing that is keeping you busy?" He said in a really curious tone. "I thought you told me you wouldn't be busy today."

Christian remained quiet and just thought about what he was gonna say to Miguel. He didn't want to tell him that he had gone to Sumitria and was in Antonio's company. But at the same time he didn't wanna lie to him because he loved him.

"I am in Sumitria right now."

"Sumitria?" Miguel gasped, feeling his heart pounding. "What are you doing there?"

"I am sorry. I should have told you." He hit his head. "I have just come to deal with this Antonio no sense before it gets out of hand."

Miguel remained silent for a while, trying to make himself calm. He knew Christian wasn't gonna find out anything about what he did. But honestly, he didn't want him being there. He also didn't wanna talk about Antonio.

"Okay." He smiled brightly. "Good luck with your search. Call me when you get back..." He paused and looked at the angry Brandon who was looking at him as if he wanted to grab his phone and break it. "...my love."

Christian's heart melted when Miguel called him that. Tears formed in his eyes and a wind of happiness took control of his body. He couldn't believe that had just happened. How he wished he had been there to ask Miguel to kiss him. But he was in Sumitria when he should have been with the boy that he loved so much.

"Okay, my love." He said with the brightest smile. "I will call you later."

"Bye!" He kissed the phone and cut the call.

Miguel dropped the phone to the table and looked at his very jealous lawyer. He was hurt. But Miguel was so happy that he didn't give a fuck about Brandon's feelings. But of course, Miguel wouldn't want Christian to find out anything linking him to Antonio.

Christian smiled brightly, remembering the words that Miguel had just told him. He couldn't believe he had finally called him that. He was really happy. But as much as he wanted to think about those pretty words, Christian knew he had limited time to find what he wanted.

He went back to the computers and continued searching through them.

"Why did you tell him that you were here?"

"I need to trust in Miguel." Christian said with a smile, not stopping what he was doing. "You have no idea the situation I am in."

Christian continued searching until he managed to get access to the security videos. He went to the time when he had been in Sumitria and the videos came. Just when the videos displayed for him to see, Christian didn't even go far and voila... there was a video which caught his eyes.

Seeing the video, Christian's heart started pounding deep in his chest as if it was about to rip out... his body trembled in fear and surprise... his eyes widened... his mind froze and his mouth gaped. Christian tried to close his eyes to see if he was just seeing things but when he opened his eyes again, he saw the same thing.

The video he was looking at was really shocking. It was that same day he had been in Sumitria with the inspector. But it wasn't him he was seeing. The person in the video was Antonio quite alright. But he was talking with Miguel outside the company near a fancy car. Miguel might have been wearing a big hat and his face was a little hidden. But that hair... that gorgeous body and those clothes were clearly his. There was no doubt about that.

Some people wouldn't have known it was Miguel but Christian could have bet his life on it. He was sure it was Miguel and there no denying that.

Christian took a quick glance at his friend who was busy trying to see and he got his eyes back to the screen. They might have not been hearing what they were talking about but Christian could tell it was pretty serious. And the way Antonio was looking at him... gee!

Christian gasped as his eyes widened. "I can't... I can't believe it..." he exclaimed, feeling really worried and scared. "...it's... it's him." He pointed to the screen. "That's Miguel!"

What is gonna happen now?

The only difference is, Miguel is no longer a wild flower but an iron rose. Iron will be more intriguing than Wild Flower so relax, sit and enjoy Miguel's journey.
