Anhedonia?? How obscure is that? I guarantee that you won't find "anhedonia" in any other story on Lit. All it means is that the reader has to stop and find out what the definition is for a word they've never heard before, breaking the rhythm of the read. Then, the reader asks why the hell it was necessary to use such an unused word to describe something fairly well-described by more simple terms!! Get smart and get simple!!!

So innocent - so charming and sweet - this is how I want to experience mentally
