I didn't have a problem with the changing pov as it is. You have a kind of casual style in telling this story so it worked. When he was musing about her not being perfect I was think both: it's nice she's not,and well, is he some perfect Greek god? I was happy that she had the mirror musing. The care between them throughout was critical. A part of me was a bit annoyed at him from my personal experience. All of his interrupting would have killed or at least hampered me on that quest.
