She sat up in the bed and moved out of the circle of his arms.
That was when he knew she was really steamed!
"I would want an explanation. And, that's where trusting me comes in. Because I realize that my behavior is a little strange lately, but I'm trying to do something good. I'm asking for you to have a little faith in me. You're religious as hell. You have faith in a God you can't see, and have never known, and you're sure you're right about even his or her material form, even though I've shown you that lots of faiths believe different ways. And I think that's beautiful. So, you can have faith in shit you don't understand yet. Apply the same logic to me," said Leif.
Lynne looked at him through the shadow of the moonlight, and did something he didn't expect at all, began laughing hysterically.
"So...so I just need to have a little bit of faith in you! You're fucking God now? Is that what you are telling me. And since you're God, I'm not supposed to question you, even though you've been acting nuts since yesterday? I'm supposed to have blind faith and hope things work out for the best? Well, that's great, except, you're not God Leif. God doesn't have to be accountable for his actions. You do. I know you are my hero. And so many things to me. Leif you've managed to be so many things that even my parents and family couldn't give me. And that's why...if you break my trust I...I couldn't be with you. You've got me used to feeling too damn good and I won't accept second best from you. I just won't do it. And something's going on with that damn computer," she concluded.
And she got up out of the bed, and logged onto the laptop with the password sheet he'd given her.

I really hope this gets resolved though because Lynne needs to come to her senses but honestly I don't blame her for having serious trust issues considering her past. I just hope she doesn't screw up her engagement due to paranoia. Poor Leif... He's trying so hard.. Keep it up because this is thuroughly entertaining.

Anonymousalmost 10 years agoJanell has issues.. she is Lynn bestfriend and know that she has trust issues. For as long as Lynn and Leif been a couple Janell has had a front row seat into their relationship and not once has she seen Leif mistreat Lynn nor has he given her reason to not trust him. As Lynn's bff she should be just that and be objective of the situation and point out that maybe he's working on a surprise gift for her oppose to the lame window shopping crap. Maybe Janell is getting jealous of their whirlwind relationship or she want Lynn or Leif for herself.
Were_Childalmost 10 years agoSorry but Lynn has finally worked my last nerve. This man has gone above and beyond to help her and support her emotionally and she still doubts him? Major trust issues and sorry but she is extremely childish. You just want to have that moment in Moonstruck and slap her and say snap out of it! Reading till the end SMH Leif damned if he does damned if he don't.
ariesgirlalmost 10 years agoLynne is right. I'm quite sure Leif would question her behavior if she was acting funny like him. All he have to tell her its a big surprise for the wedding and if she still doubt him have her verify it with his mother.
