It was for her high school classes' tenth anniversary. Dani didn't really want to go, seeing as how she no longer had anything in common with any of the classmates she associated with in high school. But then Dani's thoughts turned to Ashley and Sam. Even after all of these years, Dani still felt pangs of hurt for how their relationship had ended. Dani looked at the card for RSVP-ing to the party but wavered on whether to accept. Dani always remembered that glorious moment with the two of them when she had truly discovered herself. Even with all the sex she had had, since then nothing ever came close to that sublime moment and if she could somehow recreate it then it would mean everything to her. Dani hoped they would both be there, hoped they still wanted to be friends, hoped they all hadn't changed too much. With no small amount of trepidation, Dani checked the box for 'attending.'
