Silver Moon: A Change Ch. 11

Pam blushed lightly as she slipped out of her panties and quickly into the water. It was warm enough she had to take a deep breath and then started to relax. "Oh my, I might be able to get used to this though the casual nudity is a bit much."

Both Dan and Gettie laughed. "I am going to go and get something for you to eat. I will be back in a few minutes. I believe we are having both salmon steak and rib-eye steak and the sides to go with." She bowed slightly and left.

"I do enjoy my time here but even though my manor isn't anything like this I always want to go back to what has become my home." Dan slid over and wrapped an arm around her and gave her a good kiss. "Watching Mari deliver really hurt though it was special as well. I watched both my girls delivered." His voice was soft as he was speaking.

Pam turned and wrapped her arms around him and held him. "I can't even begin to imagine how it felt to lose them. You have a new family and new pups though they will never replace the ones you lost." She made her decision at that point. "I do want you as my mate Dan. It does scare me in a way but you draw me in a way no other man has." She met his lips as he turned to her in shock.

When Gettie came back she found Dan with his head tucked into Pam's neck and he was crying. For a moment she froze till Pam waved her over. "Just put the food down and he is fine. I just accepted him as my mate."

Gettie was startled at first and then a gentle smile crossed her face. She didn't say anything as she put the tray of food down but she did lightly touch Pam's hair. *Thank you milady. That is exactly what he needed and soon his healing will be complete. Call me for anything you need.*

Gettie silently left the area and headed to Alysson's office, she really needed to talk to her about this since it would impact on the clan. When Alysson called for admission she entered and closed the door. "Good evening Lady Alysson. I felt the need to let you know that Lady Pam has chosen to become Dan's mate and from what I could sense she is pregnant. I have not and will not mention this to anyone else but you."

Alysson looked up and a warm smile crossed her face. "That is very good news Gettie and thank you for informing me. As you said don't mention this to anyone else. It will impact on the clan and I am going to need to do some research. Now go back and wait in their rooms in case they need anything else and as you know there is room for you in the suite that you can use." Gettie bowed slightly and left the room.

Gettie went back to the suite and checked and made sure everything was perfect. She removed the water proof covering and turned the covers back. Just for good measure she ordered a bottle of excellent champagne on ice and set it next to the bed for them. After one last look around she moved to the small room she would be using till Mari came home. That would probably be in two days.

Eventually they made it back to the room and Dan raised an eyebrow when he noticed the champagne. "I think Gettie is congratulating us." He worked the wire and carefully popped the cork and lightly scented it. "Oh my, this is a good bottle." He handed the cork to Pam to sniff and she smiled.

"I'll take your word for it. At most I have an occasional glass of wine." She handed the cork back and watched Dan carefully pour the champagne and took the glass he handed her. Pam took a sip and smiled. "Well it tastes pretty good and remind me to thank her in the morning." She let the towel fall off. "Now I have other plans for the evening as well."

Dan smiled and took a sip as well, when she let the towel slide off her body he had to follow it with his eyes. She was a very good looking woman; her breasts were full and nicely round with small perky pink nipples, her waist was slender and you could see hints of muscle under her skin from the work she did. She didn't shave but she did trim and her pubic hair was the same brown as her hair. Her legs were slender and well shaped also. "Mmmm... I see something I like." He dropped his towel as well and pulled her close and after kissing her sniffed her neck and gloried in her scent.

The next morning Gettie came in and lightly coughed to let them know she was there. "Breakfast will be in a few minutes. If you want a shower, everything you need is in there. Once breakfast is over I will escort you to the seamstress so Pam can get fitted for her formal robes." She closed the doors behind her and started working on breakfast. Tomorrow she would be introduced to the spirits and she would show her what was needed at that point.

Dan stood and stretched and Pam watched him and had to smile. "I'm surprised you didn't squish me last night. I normally go for more slender men but good god you are hot when you stretch. I would ask how you carry all that weight but you are a lycan." She stood and swished over to the bathroom and he followed her in.

The shower wasn't too long, though Dan had entirely too much fun soaping her down. Watching the soap run between her breasts and down her smooth belly was very enjoyable. Dan had to think bad thoughts to keep from popping a massive woody. Eventually they were done and casually dressed. When they walked out Gettie was just finishing the food and set it on the table.

"I wonder if I could steal you from Mari. Between the food and the massage I feel very relaxed and comfortable. What do you think Pam should we try and steal her?" He winked at Gettie. "I know she likes wolves and at the pack she would find a number of friendly wolves."

Pam almost choked on the coffee she was sipping when he spoke. "Dan, I do not plan on starting my life with you by stealing random Kitsune's or anyone else." She eyeballed Dan. "Besides I have a feeling which wolf she enjoyed and I am not taking competition home." Pam winked at Gettie.

Gettie simply smiled. "Sorry, my Lord Alpha but Mari is my mistress and nobody will change that. I might have enjoyed the evening or two with a wolf but she is my Lady and I have to put my feelings aside for that." Just for good measure she ran one tail up one of his legs and snickered as he choked on his coffee. When Pam snickered at him he growled at both women. "Once you are done eating I will escort both of you to the seamstress." She knew the seamstress had a few other items for them but not what.

Pam frowned slightly. "Why do I need formal robes? I don't have anything to do with the clan or Dan's pups though I have been declared loco parentis for them." She did have to wonder what the robes looked like though.

Gettie looked a bit startled at the question. "Well because you are Dan's mate, or will be and since he is a Lord of the clan his mate will be expected to be dressed appropriately. Also tomorrow you will be introduced to the spirits so they will know you. For that you need formal robes as a sign of respect."

Pam looked startled at that and mulled it over as they ate. Breakfast was a quiet affair as both thought about what was going on and the changes that were going to happen. Eventually Dan was done and sighed. "That was very good Gettie, thank you. When you go back to Mari when she comes home I am going to miss your cooking."

He stood and stretched again and offered Pam a hand. "Well lets go get measured and all that. I'll tell you the one item that drove me nuts was the loin cloth that is worn with the robes. It might be silk and fitted but feels weird."

As they walked out of the suite Pam was giving him an odd look at the mention of the loin cloth and tried to figure if he was teasing her. It didn't take long to make it to the seamstress and she grinned when they walked in. "My Lord Alpha and his new mate this is a wonderful day for me. Close and lock the door Gettie while I take them back and get to work."

She led them to the back and pointed Pam towards one changing area. "I know you aren't comfortable with casual nudity but I need you to strip down to your panties so I can measure you. Dan strip down to your shorts and Gettie will help you into your robes so I can check the fit." She turned to Pam. "So what is your favorite color?"

Dan started stripping down and Pam blushed slightly at the sight of his body. "Um, medium brown and forest green. I have been dreaming of the man who smelled of the forest and loam and Dan does."

The old lady smiled. "Then those are the colors I will use. Back in a moment." She went to the back room and came back with robes in the colors Pam mentioned. "I tend to get flashes of robe colors and the general size needed." She helped Pam into a light green under robe and then a robe in the colors Pam had asked for and tied the obi on. "Go look in the mirror and see what you think."

As she was putting the robes on Pam couldn't help but smile as she lightly stroked the silk material. She sighed as she enjoyed the feel of the robe; it was so smooth and soft against her skin. "God this is worth a fortune. I don't feel worthy of it."

Helda laughed. "You are going to become a Lady of the clan unless I am reading the spirits wrong. That alone will make you eligible for the robes." She made a few measurements and smiled. "A bit of tailoring and they will be perfect. I will see about making you some other clothing as well for when you are here." She turned to say something to Dan and smiled since his eyes were all for Pam.

He took her hands in his and pressed them against one cheek. "You are so beautiful my mate. The robes just accentuate your beauty." He gave her a light kiss before stepping back suddenly blushing since he could sense Helda snickering at him.

"Now I have a few other things for both of you." She pulled out two lovely boxes and intertwined on them was a wolf, Kitsune, and human. One was more feminine which she handed to Pam and the other masculine which went to Dan. "Pam this contains some clan jewelry you will need tomorrow. Dan I know you weren't happy wearing the Alpha necklace so I had a new one created for you."

They opened the boxes and Pam gasped since the clan necklace was intertwined gold and silver with the clan emblem in jewels on the medallion. There were some silver chains with gems on them but they didn't look like necklaces. There was also a set of earrings that matched the necklace. "This is worth a king's ransom." Her fingers lightly ran across the medallion and were shaking slightly.

Dan had to smile as he opened his box and inside was his clan necklace and a new Alpha necklace. It looked like they were designed to nest together. He pulled the first out and put it on and then the second and he was right. They were designed to nest and when he looked in the mirror they looked really good. He did have to comment though. "Helda if those chains with pink stones are not removed I will reorganize all of your materials."

She snickered at him and then became more serious. "If I had time I would make new robes for you since the colors you currently have don't fit you anymore. When you come next we will discuss some new robes." The last thing she did was pull the sword case out and held it out to him and waited for him to take it. When he did she spoke again. "I routinely meditate in the spirit house and my former mate wishes you to have these. He feels you are worthy and will carry them in honor."

Now it was Dan's hands that started shaking slightly and a few tears showed. "Oh Helda I don't know what to say." Pam came over and rested a hand on his shoulder as he opened the box and looked at the swords. "Darn it, I wasn't planning on crying today but this is almost too much. Will you please hold onto them for when I am up here? I have a sword at my manor and these belong in your world." He closed the lid and pulled Helda into a gentle hug and held her for a few moments. "Thank you milady this is such a wonderful surprise."

She returned the hug and took the swords back. "I will be honored to keep your swords safe Dan." There was a hint of sadness in her voice when she said that and then her face became cheerful again. "Now stop taking up room in my shop. I gotta get to work on her robes and you are in the way."

Dan laughed at her trying to push them out of the shop. "Okay, Helda we'll go but you'd better be at the introduction ceremony since I know there is going to be dancing and I'm going to claim one with you." As he was talking he carefully removed the robes and Gettie was neatly folding them. As Pam was changing Gettie did the same.

They left the store and the clothing and Pam's jewelry in it. Since Dan had already earned it he took his jewelry and he had been assured the box would be dropped off in their suite. "Well time to go and look for some baby gifts."

The rest of the day was spent shopping and Dan picked up a few things for Pam as well along the lines of clothing that would help her blend in. He had to growl a few times when she tried to protest but eventually they had everything she needed. Once that was done they had lunch and Gettie showed Pam the cleansing rooms and then walked her through the ceremony for introduction to the spirits.

That evening Dan was called to Alysson's office and he had to wonder what she wanted. "I'll be back eventually Pam. Might have Gettie give you another massage and soak in the hot springs. I had her make sure that the temp was safe for pregnant women. She might even join you but if she tells any secrets I will have to nip a tail or something." Dan dodged the wet wash cloth Gettie threw at him and hurried out of the suite.

As he approached her office she called him in and had him close the door. She leaned back in her chair and gave him a tired smile. "I wanted to congratulate you on your pups and they are darling. I also wanted to congratulate you on your prospective mating and if you let Jon and I know we would love to come for the ceremony."

She rubbed her forehead. "I do have one minor, well maybe not minor issue to talk to you about. Seems one of the ladies you had fun with last time you were here is pregnant. Everyone swears she was not in heat so the ancestors must have something to do with it but her father would like to talk to you."

Dan wasn't surprised she knew of Pam's decision at all. He figured either Gettie would have informed her or the spirits neither of which bothered him. "I would love to have you down though I will warn you that my manor is nothing like this and I would need to know how many were coming so I could set up rooms for everyone. I am having an extension built on right now and it should be done soon since adding 15 more wolves was making it tight."

When she mentioned another pregnancy he smacked his face with a hand and growled. "Thank god I have found my mate or I would swear off sex for the rest of my life." He leaned his head on his hands with his elbows on his knees. "So who was it? The wolf spirit or coyote spirit animal?" His voice had a sort of whine when he asked.

She snickered at him. "The wolf spirit and from what I understand she is tickled pink even though her father is somewhat annoyed. They are going to be here for the ceremony." To be honest she had been very shocked when she had been informed of that. Pregnancy outside of heat was so vanishingly rare that it might happen once a generation. She knew that both Mari and Sheliae had been in heat so that was understandable. This was a bit of a shock.

"Great I get to tell my future mate there are more little Dan's or Dani's on the way. She might just decide to change her mind." He rubbed his face and while he was doing that Alysson's phone rang and she answered it.

"Dan, Saul is on the line and he said it is urgent." Dan groaned since he knew what it was about. "Thanks." He took the handset from her. "Let me guess the auditor is there and less than pleased that I am not home right?"

When Saul confirmed it Dan sighed. "Just what I need right now put him on please." When the man answered Dan greeted him. "Alpha Legarith speaking and I am sorry I am not there right this second but my submissive just gave birth to my pups and I had to be here." He listened for a few moments. "I have already booked you a flight here since I simply can't leave for several days. I need to be at the pup's introduction ceremony. Saul has all the files and paperwork needed for review ready."

He listened a bit longer. "Well right now I am at the manor of Lady Alysson of the Silver Kitsune Clan. You would be staying here and she will have an office we can use. It is probably a good idea for you to come up in any case. I was made a Lord of the clan when Mari was introduced to the clan as Lord Geoff's mate and Lady Alysson has records of that you might want to review."

There was a pause on the other side of the phone and a slight grin crossed his face when he heard a sigh on the other end. "Okay, I will ensure there is someone at the airport to pick you up and will have a room ready for you. I will talk to you tomorrow." He hung up and pinched the bridge of his nose. "This audit is going to be a royal pain in the ass. I am not from this world, took over not just one pack but several others, brought over my original pack, have more kids on the way than I believe and I am a Lord in a different country. What next?"

Alysson couldn't help but give him a good hug. "Well, you might be inducted into the spirit wolf clan which is yet a third country. Other than that, hopefully not much else for a while. It has been a long year for you with a great number of issues you had to overcome but there have been some good things as well. You have a good solid Pack now, two lovely pups and yes several more on the way which I assume are going to be just as lovely. You found your mate and your healing is mostly done."

Dan accepted the hug and sighed as he leaned against her. "I know I am healing though it still hurts and always will. I do have a good Pack and honest to god wolf pups. It has been a rough year but you are right there have been some glimpses of light." He closed his eyes for a moment and briefly reviewed the year. "Well I need to get back to my rooms and talk to Pam." He stood up and straightened his back and walked out as the proud Alpha he was.

When he walked into the suite the two ladies were talking and Dan smiled. He was pleased Pam was getting along with Gettie considering he had slept with her several times. "Gettie, can you give us a few minutes please, I need to talk to Pam." He sat down and sighed as he leaned back, feeling tired and used.

Gettie stood up. "Not a problem Dan. If you need me just call for me and I will be back." She wasn't sure what he was going to talk to her about but it sounded important. Gettie silently left the suite and closed the doors behind her.

"That sounded slightly ominous Dan. Is there a problem with the Pack?" That was her assumption which wasn't totally wrong but had no idea about the bomb he was going to drop.

"Well yes and no. I was supposed to undergo an audit this week and the auditor showed up this evening and he is going to be flying up tomorrow to start it." He scratched his beard before speaking again. "The big problem is I was just informed that during Mari's introduction ceremony one of the ladies I dallied with is also pregnant with my pups."

Pam froze for a moment and her reaction was totally not what Dan expected-she started laughing. It was a good deep belly laugh and it took her several minutes to recover during which Dan actually looked slightly offended. "Oh goddess that is funny. Maybe it's a good thing we are going to mate. It might cut down on any further population explosions of yours." She couldn't help it and fell against him and laughed a bit longer.

Dan growled at her as she was laughing her ass off at him. "Not funny and I was expecting a different reaction from you." He had worked himself up for a confrontation and what did she do? She almost tried to die laughing. By now he was almost pouting at her and looking very out of sorts.
