"Get some shovels. Maybe the knights of Iris will be kind enough to dig us some graves." Michael snapped at Nathan before slamming the door and sighing, loudly. Cassie was understanding. So she knew what was coming next even if Michael Cross hated the taste of alcohol. Friday he signed his deal with death. If he didn't show up for Nathan to get back at him then Nathan would come for the people at the bar.

"I need a drink."

Yes. You are probably right and I figured that myself long before I wrote the story. I just put that there so there wouldn't be that many people complaining about how pirates weren't around then or how they weren't even called pirates yet. It's there so that there are more people focused on enjoying the story because that's what it's there for.

Why, thank you! And if you enjoyed this one then you will really enjoy the next one. I have something really cool planned for it and perhaps a couple more fun scenes in it. ;)

"First of all I know that the world didn't always have pirates but this is fiction." --- I'm not so sure about that. I think the world has probably had pirates for as long as it's had seafaring commercial traders with goods worth stealing - i.e. since prehistoric times.
