The Deal Ch. 01

After thinking for a moment she asks.

"Let me guess. You never thought to give yourself a level cap did you?"

"Now that you mention it I guess I didn't." I say as I break the summoning circle so that she is free to walk around as she pleases.

As an amused smirk crosses her lips she says.

"Well, congratulations you are now basically a video game character with no upper limits."

"Are you sure? I don't feel any different."

"Yup I'm sure, if it didn't work we wouldn't be having this conversation."

After saying this she walks by me sits down on the couch and pats the spot beside her.

"If someone tries to use magic beyond their mana capacity, the magic will try to find the energy to complete the spell even if it kills the user. First it will drain away the casters life force to the point of death if necessary and if that isn't enough, it will consume the casters soul, and if that still isn't enough the spell will fail to cast altogether."

I sit down beside her and she places her hand on my leg.

"So the fact that you are still alive is proof that the spell worked. I imagine what you actually did was forced yourself to gain a unique ability that is being powered by one of the ancient gods."

She says this as she slowly starts rubbing my leg.

"After all only they could pull off bestowing an ability that has no upper limit. Sure a person can force their ability to go beyond it's limits and get even stronger, but that is very difficult, and you don't even need to worry about that. Your power will only keep getting stronger."

She says this with an amused smile across her face. She keeps rubbing my leg while her other hand finds it's way into her skin tight, leather pants. Her hand keeps getting closer to my crotch before she can reach up and feel anything I jump off of the couch in panic. I don't want her to know how small I am. I'm to afraid that she would decide she would rather return to Hell.

She gives me a smile that tells me she knows I have a small penis, and it doesn't bother her before saying.

"I knew it was going to be interesting watching what you do. That's why I insisted that I was the one to stay with you."

Her breathing starts to pick up from the pleasure her fingers are giving her. As she let's out a few quiet moans she continues.

"Honestly, he really didn't like the idea all that much," she says, a moan escaping her lips as her hand picks up speed. "After all, I'm one of the oldest succubi in his service. I have a lot more power than the average succubus."

Eve begins to shake slightly as she pinches a nipple with her free hand.

"In the end though, he agreed." She concludes with what seemed to be a miniature orgasm, but I can't be sure.

I'm surprised that she went out of her way in order to stay with me. I decide to change the subject in order to distract myself from her lewd display before I lose control and attack her. Not that she would mind of course.

"Well, okay then let's see if I can figure this out. If I were to design this system I would make it so that if I made a gesture by sliding my finger down like you would on a cell phone it would bring up the menu. I guess I'll give that a try then."

I make the gesture and after I do something that looks like a video game character status screen appears.

"Holy shit it worked!" I cry out in surprise.

I take a moment to look over the display. It looks something like this:

I'm going to have to check out those perks soon. Before that however I want to figure out how this system works. There are arrows on the left and right sides of the display. I reach out to touch the display and it feels solid and smooth like a piece of glass. I decide to try pushing my finger on the word Strength. When I do another smaller display appears with a little x in the top right corner and a question mark in the bottom right. The new display says:

[Strength: Influences most things that require physical effort such as lifting heavy objects and the like. It also determines the damage you inflict with melee attacks such as punching and kicking or swinging a weapon.]

Okay so by clicking on it I get more detailed information. I decide to click on the question mark to see what it is all about. Another window pops up that says.

[All of your stats are divided into different tiers depending on how high they are. Every stat point will improve all of your abilities influenced by that particular stat and every tier increase will improve those abilities even more. Every time a stat advances a tier above average you can choose a Perk related to that stat. Once a stat reaches 30 you will gain another perk every 10 points. When a stat reaches 50 and every 50 points afterwards you will instead gain an EX Perk. These Perks are much better than normal ones. The tiers are as follows:

1-4 Below Average

5-9 Average

10-14 Above Average

15-19 Gifted

20-24 Exceptional

25-29 Peak Human

30+ Superhuman]

Even though I can guess what all of my attributes do I decide to look them over anyway. As I do this I notice Eve giving me a confused look, I'm guessing she can't see the display, good to know.

[Dexterity: Influences your precision, speed, reflexes and the like. It also increase the damage you inflict with ranged weapons such as bows and firearms.]

[Vitality: Influences your stamina, physical health and your ability to fight off disease and the like. It also increases your HP regeneration by 0.5% of your maximum HP/minute for every 10 points of Vitality.]

[Toughness: Influences your pain threshold. It also reduces the damage you take when you are attacked and increases your maximum HP by 5 points for every 1 point of Toughness every level.]

[Intelligence: Influences your memory, problem solving ability, comprehension and the like. It also influences the damage you inflict with magical attacks and increases your maximum MP by 5 points for every 1 point of Intelligence every level. You also gain a number of skill points every level equal to 25% of your Intelligence.]

[Wisdom: Influences your judgement, insight, ability to properly use gained knowledge and the like. It also reduces damage you take from magic based attacks, the effectiveness of healing magic and increases your MP regeneration by 0.5% of your maximum MP/minute for every 10 points of Wisdom.]

[Charisma: Influences your force of personality, your ability to persuade, captivate and influence others with your words.]

[Luck: Has a little influence on almost everything, but most noticeably when it comes to chance. It also increases your critical hit rate, chances of getting rare items from defeated enemies and the amount of money they drop.

Note this attribute cannot be increased with your stat points.]

Yeah they basically do what I thought they would, although the HP and MP regeneration was a nice surprise. Next I click on my title and job:

The lowest rank of beings in the service of Mephistopheles. Makes all of your base attributes 10 and makes your base HP and MP 50. Lastly your level is reset to 1 upon gaining this title.

Note: This title cannot be changed.]

[Proprietor of Souls: Rank 1

You work in the service of the demon lord Mephistopheles, and carry out his will. Gain the ability to harvest various types of energy from other beings, and environments. Also collect the souls of beings you have slain. This energy is converted into mana and stored within yourself for later use.

Note: 25% of the energy you collect will automatically be transferred to Mephistopheles. This job cannot be changed.]

Okay let's see what the other menus are like. I drag my fingers across the window from right to left and a new menu comes up.

This one is apparently a skill, ability, perk and flaw list. There are tabs down the left side for the different categories and at the top there are five tabs. One each for learned skills, abilities, perks and flaws. The last one looks like a search engine. I'm assuming this is to search for new skills and abilities to learn.

In the learned skill list I have a few skills listed. They are;

The skills are all self explanatory so I don't bother clicking them. I know back before becoming impotent I masturbated a lot, but level thirty-five that's ridiculous. At the same time my [Gaming] skill seems low considering the amount of time I've spent gaming. Then again I've never been a competitive gamer so maybe the fact that I didn't push myself to get better limited the skill growth. I click on the question mark in the bottom right corner. The new window says:

[Every skill belongs to a different tier depending on it's level. Each skill level improves a skill's effect. Each tier increase causes a larger improvement to a skill's effect and every tier increase beyond amateur allows you to choose 1 perk related to the skill in order to improve it's effectiveness. After level 40 you gain another perk every 10 levels. At level 50 and every 50 levels afterwards you instead gain an EX Perk. These Perks are much better than normal ones. The different tiers are:

1-4 Novice

5-9 Basic

10-14 Amateur

15-19 Intermediate

20-24 Advanced

Inside the learned abilities tab there are three boxes with different designs on them. One looks like a person absorbing energy from another person, the second looks like a soul trapped in a cage, and the last one looks like a 16 bit version of me. I decide to click on them. Smaller windows pop up.

[Energy Harvesting: Passive/Active Rank Max

Passive: -- Converts your own negative energies into mana.

- Allows you to drain the excess negative energies from everyone and anything within a 5ft/Level radius of you. More energy can be collect during times of increased sin e.g. while people are having sex, but not while they are making love. The collected energy is then converted into mana and stored within yourself.

Active: - Allows you to drain the life force of another being through physical contact. The life force is then converted into mana and stored within yourself.

Note: This will only work while the being is in a weakened state or they are much weaker than yourself.]

[Soul Collecting: Passive Rank Max

- Allows you to automatically collect and store the souls of any beings you have killed.]

[Gamer's Body: Passive Rank Max:

- Your body function's like that of a video game character. When you are injured your HP is reduced, if your HP reaches 0 you will die, if you recover HP your injuries will heal and the pain will fade. Certain parts of your body are considered Critical Hit Spots. If you are injured in one of these areas you will take double damage. Your brain and heart however are considered vital spots. If they are damaged you will take 5x damage.

Note: Lost limbs will not regrow if you recover HP.]

The perk menu is empty for now so I skip it and go to the flaw menu.

[Hypersexuality:

This causes you to have extremely frequent increases in libido. This can cause sexual fantasies, compulsive masturbation, trouble concentrating, and becoming easily distracted.]

[Avoidant Personality Disorder:

This can cause feelings of inadequacy and inferiority, extreme sensitivity to negative comments, and avoidance of social interaction.]

[Anthropophobia:

This is a form of extreme shyness and timidity. This can cause fear of groups of people, staring, or making eye contact.]

[Acrophobia:

This causes you to be afraid of heights possibly leading to negative status effects like; frightened, panicked or terrified.]

[Claustrophobia:

This causes you to be afraid of having no escape and being closed in possibly leading to negative status effects like; frightened, panicked or terrified.]

[Thalassophobia:

This causes you to be afraid of large bodies of water possibly leading to negative status effects like; frightened, panicked or terrified.]

[Obesity:

This can cause reduced life expectancy, increased chance heart failure and reduced physical health.]

[Poor Physical Health:

This can cause reduced life expectancy, vulnerability to disease, and low stamina.]

[Depression:

This can cause lack of motivation, trouble sleeping, overeating, and poor self esteem.]

I need to do something about those flaws. I could probably use magic to get rid of them, but in order to grow as a person it would better to use more mundane means. Although Hypersexuality will probably need to be removed with magic, after all it's in my genetics. I'll worry about that later. I've been dealing with it my whole life so it should be manageable. If it get's to out of hand then I'll use magic, but I'm going to try and control it through frequent sex.

The next menu is for my equipment. Apparently I can save multiple equipment sets in order to switch between them faster. That's really convenient.

The next menu is my inventory for all of my items, complete with tabs to look for specific item types. It even has a spot at the bottom for my money.

Continuing on I'm at a menu for all of the different types of energy I've collected. This menu is of course completely empty. So I guess the energy I collect is different from my MP. I can probably use it to refill my MP though. Since they're different I probably can't use my MP for magic outside of the skills I've learned I guess.

Next is my appearance customization menu. I'm going to be coming back to this menu once I've seen all of the others.

Next is a party customization and friends list. Hey what do you know Eve is already on my friends list.

Next is all of my various statistics. You know like how some games have everything listed out for you like; play time, number of enemies killed, total money earned. That type of thing.

Last is the options menu which basically just let's me alter a few things about my ability like the layout for the menus, their color and whatnot. I decide to turn off notifications during battle and sex and switch on the name display. I immediately notice that Eve's name is displayed above her head.

"So do demons not have last names or something? I turned on an option that displays people's names above their heads and yours only says Evelynn."

"Some demons choose to use the name of the clan they belong to as their surname. However I myself am not part of a clan. I work only in the service of Lord Mephistopheles."

She says this as she pulls her hand out of her pants and starts cleaning her fingers. I'm guessing this means there is going to be a long explanation coming, and she knows what I'm about to ask, but I ask anyway.

"So demons aren't born with a family name then?"

"Demons typically don't have families. We are not born through sex, we are born when enough negative energy is gathered together. I said typically because there are rare cases of powerful demons generating enough negative energy to create another demon."

Interesting. I wonder if it works the same for angels just with positive energy instead.

"The most dominant sin determines which of the seven classifications of demons will be born and the amount of energy determines how strong we will be at birth. Our exact species is determined by the souls the energy came from. Demons are born fully matured and with all of the knowledge they will need to fulfil their duties. We know our true name from birth, and we make the name we use to address ourselves so that they don't contain part of our true name."

"Why?" I ask confused.

"Most humans don't understand the power of someone's true name. I'm not talking about the name your parents gave you when you were born. I mean the name that is linked to your very soul. If someone commands you to do something using your true name unless your soul is vastly stronger than theirs you will obey their commands. If they want they can turn you into a mindless puppet."

"Oh, I had no idea," I say in surprise. Who knew a name could hold so much power.

The conversation goes quiet for a minute and I realize Evelynn is waiting on me.

"Sorry I've been so quiet I'm just checking out all of the menus that my new ability gave me. I'm just going to do one more thing and then we can talk more about what we are going to do from here. Also sorry for interrupting you."

She nods her head in understanding before saying.

"Don't worry about it sweetie I could've just kept playing with myself, but I figured it would be easier to explain without all of the moaning."

After saying this she starts playing with herself again. I go back to the appearance customization menu and start designing the look I want. Apparently I can customize my appearance with either something similar to what you would find in a video game or by thinking of what I want changed and how. It seems that the window is only a preview of the final result. The changes won't take place until I click accept.

First thing's first increase height to 6'2. Next change body type from obese to muscular. Not really bulky, but excellent definition the so called swimmers body. If you don't know what that is think of someone like Ryan Reynolds.

Now that the most drastic changes are done time for some smaller ones. Full head of hair, short around the sides a little longer on top and kind of brushed to the right. Next is facial hair, I decide to go with a chinstrap goatee look. Nice and thick, but not to long. About three-fourths of an inch wide framing my face. From my side burns down my jaw line and across my chin. About one-fourth of an inch wide connecting my beard to my mustache. All of course very neatly groomed like it had been done by a professional.

I decide to keep my black hair and dark brown eyes. I make a few minor improvements to my face to give myself a real ruggedly handsome look, and make sure to give myself perfect white teeth. I remove all of my body hair and blemishes from my skin like scars, stretch marks, freckles and whatnot. I give my skin a slight tan making sure that it's not to dark. After a few more little minor adjustments there is one last thing that I need to change. I'm sure you can already guess what. I will admit I may have gone a little overboard, but I'm soon going to be the proud owner of a nice and thick nine inch cock. At least I didn't go nuts and give myself the monster I had in that dream.

Once I make sure everything is the way I want it I push accept. A pop-up informs me that it will cost fifty MP to make the desired changes. I push accept. I'm not going to lie the transformation felt really weird. Honestly I'm not even sure how to describe it. Once the transformation is complete I look over at Eve as I make a gesture sliding my fingers up to close the window and she is giving me an odd look as she removes her hand from her pants. It was something like a combination of surprise, fascination, and lust, but then again she's always got a look of lust in her eye.

"Is that part of your ability too?" She asks. "After all you shouldn't have any mana left to do that."

"Yeah I have an appearance customization window, this transformation cost me fifty MP."

I have to admit I really enjoyed her giving me the once over. It's nice to be lusted after. She ends up staring at my crotch while licking her lips, at this point I realize that my clothes didn't change with my transformation so my pants and underwear are pooled around my feet and my shirt isn't doing much to hide my new manhood.
