Wonder why such a high portion of the Kiwis on the site are good writers?

I had to stop reading not even halfway through the first page. Why is this man stalking this poor girl? She can't help it, she has to be there because it's where she works. He appeared to me as like a vulture, Just awaiting his opportunity on an injured animal before attacking it. Which he did as soon as he saw her hurting. Hated this story or what little I read of it. Surely you could have come up with a better scenario for a story. And I'll bet that you tried to put a happy ending to her life, with him by her side.
