Seems like another nightmarish dream. Similar to the one less detailed in pt. 3 only the guy is the one killed in this one instead of her. If you want to continue this story that is what I'd do. Otherwise some things don't make sense.

Great story but you need to do what the TV folks do and make the ending a dream with the worst case some more broken bones!
