Katelyn's mind is quickly snapped back to reality as the man behind the counter loudly calls out "Next please", seemingly irritated that Katelyn isn't paying attention. She quickly looks up and finds lowest priced meal she can... a hotdog and small drink from the kids menu. Then Katelyn turns to ask her brother if she can borrow a couple of dollars. Just as she is about to ask, Rick steps to the counter and starts to order.

"Three Rex Burgers with the works for me and these two sailors." He boldly calls out as he peels a twenty from a folded stack of bills. "Oh, and add a large basket of Fatty Fries and three Long Necks." He adds to the order as he layers another bill on top of the twenty.

"And what to drink for the little girl?" The man behind the counter asks, glaring at Katelyn, obviously questioning her age.

"Oh, sorry. My bad, sir." Rick corrects himself. "Make it a couple of Long Necks for me and my mate here, and a soda for the girl."

Then Rick slings his arms around Katelyn and Jason, pulls them in close turning his head side to side so they see how excited he is. "You guys are going to love this."

At that moment... The moment Rick hugged them. Katelyn's mind went wild with excitement...

'He touched me. No wait, he actually hugged me. His fingertips actually touched my breast. He meant to do that. That was no accident. Well maybe it was. I don't care. He is actually buying me lunch. That means something, right? That means he likes me. Oh my god I think I'm in love.'

A few minutes later they are sitting with their lunch, and the great debate over whose burger is best goes into a full rage. Each ingredient and every condiment gets thoroughly scrutinized and defended with every bite. Katelyn has to admit that the burgers Rick bought are pretty damn good, but she is exceptionally horny and her senses are on fire. At this point she is sure that anything from Rick would taste amazing.

After lunch the guys once again start teasing Katelyn by pointing their groins at every Frisbee they see. This dick pointing thing is getting completely out of hand and Katelyn is begging them to stop. This makes the boys tease her all the more. It all finally stops when a couple of guys walk by with a volleyball. Almost without thinking, Rick flips his head back and asks...

"Hey, you guys headed down to the nets."

"Yeah, we were hoping to play some pick-up"

"We'll play ya." Rick offers.

"Yeah, we can give it a go." Jason adds as if he were somehow part of the decision.

Katelyn is hoping the boys are just making a joke to get off of the Frisbee thing. Surely they don't actually intend to play volleyball. She knows she full well that she can't play, and her brother was the clumsiest water boy their high school soccer team ever had. How could Jason possibly play volleyball? Katelyn is sure they must be joking, but the secretive nods of confidence between Rick and Jason tell Katelyn they are indeed serious about playing this game.

No sooner than Rick and Jason finish giving each other their 'yeah we got this' looks, Rick looks at Katelyn and sees the concern on her face. Rick seems to realize that in making their impromptu plan to play volleyball, they had inadvertently left her out, and he tries to fix things.

"How about if we play you guys in a game of two on three?" Rick asks, placing his hand on Katelyn's shoulder acting like she was some sort of ringer that would have been unfair to unleash on the other players.

Katelyn knows better. She knows she couldn't hit a volleyball any better than she can throw a Frisbee. She immediately imagines the amount groin carnage that would happen if she actually tried to play this game.

"Um, guys... I can't really, um..." Seeing how badly the boys want to play, Katelyn quickly changes her tone. "Why don't you guys show me how it's done in a quick game of two on two?"

"Doubles it is then." Rick finalizes the challenge as they head off towards the volleyball nets with their new friends.

When they get to the nets, Katelyn plops into the sand at the edge of the court. She is happy in the fact that just has to sit and watch and not play. The boys peel off their shirts and toss them to Katelyn as they step onto the court to warm up. Out of habit, Katelyn starts to neatly fold their shirts.

Just before she folds Rick's shirt, she holds it to her face and takes in his sexy scent. Then out of curiosity she does the same with her brother's shirt. As her brother's scent fills her head a rush of energy pulses through her body. Even though she wants to love everything about Rick, deep down it's her brother's musky scent that gets her going.

With the shirts thoroughly sniffed and folded, her attention turns to the game. Katelyn can't imagine how a science nerd and a student chef can actually excel at sports, but it turns out that Jason is pretty good at this game, and Rick... Well Rick is good at everything. Of course he is playing like a pro.

When she asks her brother about his new found ability, Jason tells Katelyn that he took a volleyball class as his Phys Ed elective at school and loved it. When the class ended he and his classmates started playing pick-up games in the park, and it became an obsession.

The boys make quick work of their first game easily beating their new friends. Katelyn is surprisingly impressed that her brother isn't the total klutz he once was. Even more impressive to Katelyn than Jason's new found athletic ability, is the way both Rick and Jason's shirtless bodies glisten in the sun while they played. Katelyn happily spends the next couple of hours watching the motion of their lean muscular bodies as Rick and Jason make quick work of all challengers.

When the boys have finally tired of volleyball, the three head across the coastal highway to wander among the shops, restaurants, and nightclubs. As they walk, Katelyn marvels at the way the early evening sun makes Rick's reflection in the store windows seem to be made of bronze. As his reflection dances on the panes, she realizes she can look at Rick all she wants without anyone noticing. She just can't stop staring.

After watching Rick all day Katelyn is convinced that she is in love, but she has no idea how to make Rick see that. She really wishes Rick would take the lead. She wishes he would just tease and tickle her like her brother always has. Katelyn is sure that a little bit of tickling would get things started. So as they walk, Katelyn finally takes charge. She boldly reaches out and pokes Rick in the ribs.

Katelyn is hoping that this one little poke will get the tickling started. She is hoping that Rick will tickle her back. That would be perfect. Being touched by him is something she wants more than anything. At this point she wants nothing more than for Rick to run his hands and fingers all over her body, eventually touching her in all the places other boys aren't allowed to touch.

To her surprise, poking Rick in the ribs actually works, but not exactly in the way Katelyn had intended. Instead of Rick just tickling Katelyn, it starts a game where Jason and Rick walk down the sidewalk poking and grabbing at each other. Each one tries to get the other to jump, squirm, and dart at the most inopportune time. In this new little game, a poke or grab is sure to come when a stranger is walking by. And a tickle with an added nudge is sure to come when walking near a lamp post, newsstand or mailbox.

Even though Katelyn started this game, she is rarely the one getting tickled or poked. Rick and Jason are mostly just getting each other. Katelyn does occasionally get tickled, but it mostly comes from her brother, not from Rick like she had hoped. It doesn't matter to her though. Even if she isn't getting tickled by Rick very often, her brother's touch is really turning her on.

Soon everyone is tickling and poking at each other whether there is a lamp post to run into or not, and Katelyn could care less if it's Rick or her brother that is tickling her. No matter who is touching her it is making her body is burn with desire.

Then just as the tickling and poking game reaches a fevered pitch, Rick juts out the palm of his hand as if he were a policeman directing traffic. His outstretched arm instantly puts a stop to their childish behavior.

"We are here" Rick says.

"Where's here?" Jason is perplexed.

"Yeah, where are we?" Katelyn adds, blushing as she realizes how childish her question must have sounded.

They are standing in front of a place called Beach Benders, or as the locals call it, Benders. Benders is a night club that has always had a reputation for being a rowdy biker bar. Nearly every night the street parking in front of Benders becomes a tangle of gleaming chrome and leather. It's as if by some grand plan dozens of motorcycles have been parked in perfect left leaning angles, backed in against the curb.

This night is no exception. Plenty of bikers are already there. Rick's hand is still outstretched, but he isn't looking at the motorcycles. Rick's head is turned toward a folding sidewalk marque with the words 'Live Music' boldly displayed across the top. Along with the mystique of being a rowdy biker bar, Beach Benders also has a reputation for booking exceptional local bands, and this night's venue features one of the best.

The featured band's poster is stuck to the board just under the words 'Live Music', and has twisted lettering looking like machine parts, spelling out the name Helical Gear. Across the front are the words 'Featuring Dana' scripted diagonally like a beauty queen's sash draped across the front of heavy mechanical looking letters. At the bottom of the marque it says 'One Week Only'.

Rick continues to hold up his hand while he looks the sign over, while Jason and Katelyn try to figure out what Rick's fascination with this sign is. Jason starts looking around to see if anyone is watching them, thinking Rick must be about to play prank by running off with the sidewalk sign.

Then Jason and Katelyn silently watch as Rick looks away from the sign, leaning out, peering into the club's doorway. Jason stands there perplexed, while Katelyn tries to figure out the expression on Rick's face. It looks to her as if Rick has caught a glimpse of something unbelievable. It's like he saw a monster walking around inside of Beach Benders, or at the very least, he has seen someone naked.

Finally Rick drops his outstretched hand as he slowly turns toward Jason. Wearing a devilish grin he quietly tells what he has been thinking. "Sailors... We should see if we can sneak little Katelyn here into Beach Benders."

"What? We can't do that. It's a night club and I'm only eighteen." Katelyn whispers her response.

Jason follows suite with the whispering, even though he has no idea why. "Yeah, you've got to be twenty-one to get in there. There's no way we're going pass Bumps off as being twenty-one."

Katelyn is miffed over Jason calling her Bumps in front of Rick again, so she puffs her chest out as far as she can, trying to make her small breasts look as large as possible.

Rick looks directly at Katelyn's puffed out tits and says, "That's the spirit sailor."

With that comment from Rick, Katelyn juts her face toward her brother and sticks her tongue out at him for calling her Bumps. Rick can only chuckle at their childish brother sister interaction. Then he continues to pull them into his seemingly impossible scheme.

"Come on sailors. It'll be an adventure. What's the worst that can happen? They could say no, right? And like my grandma used to say, 'No One says no never hurt no one'."

"What?" Jason quickly questions Rick's grandmother's seemingly senseless saying.

"It means nobody was ever hurt by the word no. Now come on. We can do this."

The fact that Rick is so sure they can pull this off makes Katelyn feel like she belongs. She also feels like Rick sees her as a sexy young woman, and not the little girl she imagined he was seeing. No doubt he thinks she looks grown up enough. After all, he thinks she can get into a bar.

With this new more mature self-image, Katelyn is sure she will eventually be able hook up with Rick. So she wraps her arm around his waist and nudges him towards the darkness of the club's entrance.

Jason still isn't on board with the plan, but steps in right behind and follows them into the doorway. Not because he thinks for a moment his kid sister will get into the place, but he doesn't want to be left out on sidewalk by himself if by some miracle it does happen.

The next hurdle they have is age verification. As expected there is a doorman, and the stern burly guardian of the entrance wastes no time in asks for everyone's ID. Jason has his ID, but doesn't make a move. He knows that the gig is up because of his sister's ID. Even if she remembered to bring it along, it will clearly show that she just had turned eighteen a little over a month ago. In his mind, there is no use in even pretending at this point.

Katelyn is feeling the pressure and reaches into her back pocket, then tries to act surprised that there is nothing there. She is about to tell the doorman that she must have accidentally left her ID at home when Rick gives her a sharp nudge, stopping her from saying anything. Then Rick takes charge of the situation.

"Um, we are with the band sir." Rick blurts out trying to sound extra confident.

"Really?" The doorman's voice couldn't be more condescending.

"Yeah, we are." Rick nods his head up and down as he slowly replies, trying to sound even more confident than before.

To complete his ruse Rick looks up to the stage, flashes his smile, and waves his hand in an exaggerated arc over his head, as if to make sure the band sees that their special guests have finally arrived for the show.

Oddly enough, a young woman on the stage stops adjusting a microphone, lights up with a big friendly smile, and waves back at Rick. Seeing this, the doorman seems convinced they are indeed with the band, and begrudgingly lets them pass without further scrutiny.

They did it. They got young Katelyn into the bar. Jason can hardly believe it. And as soon as they are out of earshot of the doorman Jason tugs on Rick's shirt.

"How the hell do you know someone in the band?"

Rick sheepishly admits. "I don't. I just noticed that the woman on the stage was checking me out so I waved."

"So you just happened to wave at a member of the band after you had the balls to claim we were with the band? Un-fucking-believable!" Jason shakes his head in disbelief.

"Hey, I was as surprised and anyone. But what the hell. It worked." Rick boasts as he scans the place for an open table.

The place is pretty crowded, but Rick spots an open table just to the left of the stage. They make their way to the table only to find a placard saying it has been reserved.

"Here we are sailors." Rick announces as he flips the placard face down on the table.

"We can't sit here." Jason resists, becoming increasingly wary of Rick's crazy ideas.

"Sure we can sailors. Remember? We are with the band." Rick says as he pulls a chair out for Katelyn.

"Yeah Jason, don't be such a wuss." Katelyn jabs at her brother as she slides into the chair.

Jason begrudgingly sits, and their attention turns to what's happening on the stage. Four older men hiding behind oddly shaped beards and hip music themed clothing have appeared. These men are obviously the band, and as they settle into place they begin warming up for their first set. The jumbled sounds of the musicians tuning their instruments gets louder and louder until, as if on cue, they all stop at once. Then with three syncopated clicks on the edge of a drum, the band starts playing that old familiar song about cocaine.

As the band plays an extended version of the intro, a woman in shiny skin tight pants runs through the audience and jumps up on stage. With her back turned to the audience, she grabs a microphone from a stand and holds it high over her head. Then she pirouettes and kicks into a wide stance facing the audience.

Katelyn immediately recognizes this woman. It's the woman that waved to Rick when they were trying to get past the doorman. The woman pulls the microphone down to her lips, slowly raises her arm pointing two fingers out towards the crowd, and shouts.

"Hello Beach Benders. I'm Dana, and these fine gentlemen behind me are the Helical Gears. Is everyone ready to rock this place to the ground?"

The crowd cheers and the band plays louder. Dana looks directly at Rick, smiles the sexiest of smiles, nods in time with the music, and starts to sing. People pour out onto the dance floor, and like Dana said, the place is rocking.

As they play, everyone's eyes are on Dana. Everyone except for Katelyn that is. She is checking out the men in the band. Their hip clothing and stylish beards seem to be a disguise of sorts. They are all trying to appear young and cool. The drummer is so cool he is even wearing sunglasses indoors.

Without a doubt they are all good looking men, but their disguises aren't exactly working. Katelyn can easily tell that all of the Helical Gear's musicians are at least her dad's age. Everyone except for Dana that is. She is much younger. Katelyn figures Dana to be in her mid-twenties at best.

Whatever their ages, it doesn't seem to matter. The youthful tone of Dana's vocals backed up by the musician's years of experience is a great combination, and the band has a uniquely pleasing signature sound. The band's first selection comes to an end with a loud crescendo of the audience shouting out "cocaine".

The band starts playing the next song. This one is not so familiar. As she sings Dana moves about the stage, sensually dancing in front of each band member, harmonizing with him, before finally introducing him to the crowd. Dana's stage presence exudes a raw sexuality and the song is causing Katelyn to have a strange feeling she has never had before. The soulful sounds of Dana's song seem to be driving their way deep into Katelyn's body, and dancing between her legs. Katelyn almost feels hypnotized.

When the band first started playing, Katelyn figured Dana was probably the daughter of one of the men. Now with her sensual dancing and sultry singing, it's looking more to Katelyn like Dana could be the girlfriend of one of these older guys. Katelyn has always found older men strangely attractive. So as Dana sings, Katelyn sits and watches trying to figure out which one of the band members Dana is lucky enough to be having sex with.

Then a devious thought enters Katelyn's mind. What if Dana actually is the daughter of one of the band members? The thought of Dana performing such a sensual dance in front of her father intrigues Katelyn. She wonders if Dana is really as turned on as her sensual dancing makes her look, or if it is all just an act. Then Katelyn wonders if she could ever sensually dance in front her own father without dying from embarrassment.

With the thought of how embarrassing it would be to dance in front of her own father, the idea of Dana actually being one of the guys' daughter seems absurd. Dana's relationship is with the band members doesn't really matter. Katelyn thinks Dana is lucky to be so incredibly sensual. She is also pretty sure that Dana can have sex with any one of those handsome older men whenever she wants.

Now Katelyn wishes she knew how to sing. She wishes she were sexy enough for an older man. She wishes she was pretty and sensual, just like Dana.

As the band plays on, their song selection moves from one dance favorite to another. Katelyn is hoping Rick will take her out on the dance floor, but he never asks. She doesn't dare ask him, for fear he will say no.

Katelyn doesn't ever want to hear the word no from Rick, especially later when she asks him if he wants to hook up with her. Katelyn decides she can be just as happy sitting next to Rick. She is also happy that Rick gladly put so much effort to get her into this place.
