Although Joe was gone to finish up his own tasks, Regina chose to go into work to get her mind straight. She knew her mental issues were now all consumed with Joe, and for some reason she had to let it happen.
When Joe texted her about the camping trip and when he was going to pick her up, Regina felt a wash of love come over her like she was winning with her plan.
