Zoe turned to Simone. "The ultrasound."

"Two boys."

Mrs. Aames shook her head. "No... two Aames boys."

"You mean?"

"Yes baby. I think he changed in the womb. And now he's changed back."

Zoe was the first to laugh. Then her mother. "I guess I owe your grandmother a hundred pound."

"What? Why?"

"She called it. It was the ultrasound. When you had one of each, the first thing she said to me,you mark my words Sandy, change is afoot. We had a wager. She bet me Charlie wasn't a girl. I guess it's a good thing you gave them both gender neutral names and not just Jamie!"

Then Simone got the joke. "You mean..."

They both nodded.

"Like you... and your grandmother? Both of them?"

"One at least. But would you bet against the other?"

And with that, they all burst out laughing, the two twin boys just playing together on the floor like nothing in the world was wrong.

THE END

*****

Hi, so that's it. I hope I haven't disappointed anyone who stuck with it through to the end, watching Joey grow as a person to become Zoe and find her place in the world. It's been quite a journey, both for her and for me. I know some of the sex scenes with Simone are a little unrealistic but it's a story and the sex is part of the reason that you're all here anyway. Just call it poetic license and don't think too much about it!

Anyway, sorry this last part took so long to arrive. It got a bit emotionally heavy for me to write and I just had to take a break from it and write something lighter for a few days before I could come back to it. If you're interested, the story I wrote in the middle is called 'Clothed Female, Naked Sam' and it's a CFNM story (not TS/CD). You should be able to find it off my profile/story page in a few days.

Thanks for reading, thanks for commenting and thanks for voting. See you soon!

This is possibly the best story I have ever read - and I am a big reader. You are a writer that truly deserves that description. As for those hoons who upset you so much -at BEST they are jealous and probably semi-illiterate, at worst they are clearly beneath contempt and not worthy of your work. Thank you for showing such passion. I wish you a happy and love filled life

Because my internal clock is so out of kilter, I spent part of three days reading this story.

But I so enjoyed most of it!

I did get a bit confused with a few small parts of the story. I might have been too tired to comprehend what i was reading.

Anywho, twixt the many pages of this writing are some very emotional, heart wrenching, heart breaking, laugh causing, titillating and down right sexy situations !

Having an open mind, even a great imagination helps when reading a story such as this.

Good work girl !

Mind boggling

I am impressed, this story had me spellbound from start to finish. The final conclusion seemed so natural.

I'm glad that overall you liked the story. I take your criticism on board. It is appreciated as it was constructive. I can assure you I have no love of feminists!

I just wanted to say, concerning repercussions, do you really think the Crown Prosecution Service would prosecute in this very much Daily Mail oriented public perception reality we currently reside in? I have my doubts. I think the CPS only tries cases it could reasonably be expected to win and it would be deeply unpopular to go after a sexual violence / rape victim, particularly when you consider a jury of her peers would need to reconcile their consciences afterwards. The perpetrator (yes, I know he's male, sorry!) was a violent, serial criminal. How many American TV shows have we all sat through where the lesser offender makes a deal in return for nailing a bigger catch? I don't know, maybe you're right. I guess we'll never know, it's just a story!

And also a big, big, big, big thank you to everyone who comments. I do read them all, when I check in, which I'm afraid is not all that often these days. When I do check in and see there's a new comment, it tends to be 3 months old by that point and while I would like to respond personally to every one, the chances that you'll be checking back that far down the line are quite slim, I suppose.

The commenter above just got lucky in that his comments were left on the same day as I checked in.

A good read on the whole.

As a story I enjoyed reading this. The idea at it's core is not exactly new in concept, but the authors direction with it was a good one. The characters had enough depth - definitely for an erotic story on here - a decent plot, romance and emotion.

What I felt throughout though was a strong feminist anti-male vibe. It's common with 3rd wave feminism sadly where men are the rout of all darkness and women are the beacons of light.

Oh, and if the story was real it would not have had a happy ending as Zoe more than likely would have been sent to prison for around 12 years for GBH. You don't get to do that and get told you're not in trouble by the police. You most certainly are - regardless of her mitigating reasons for doing it.

Glad I read the whole thing

I don't think you're active on here any more, but this was such an incredibly powerful story that I felt I needed to leave feedback. I came across this while looking for some sci-fi gender swapping stories because I've read some that are pretty hot and was honestly just looking for some sexual excitement with an interesting premise. This wasn't at all what I was expecting from the first chapter, but I am glad I stuck with it. Simone reuniting with her parents actually made me tear up, which I'm pretty sure is a first for a Literotica story! It takes a rare gem of a story to make me that invested, so thank you.

Deeply moving story ... and a suggestion for a spin-off (or two)

ZoeJoey

I can't tell you how deeply moved I was by your story. I totally did not expect such a powerful, emotional tale.

I found tears welling in my eyes time and again, and I hope you will further explore these issues with a series following Charlie and Jamie as they grow up, with them simply knowing since they were toddlers that gender isn't fixed at birth, just like most other children grow up knowing that they are a boy or a girl.

But perhaps the twins don't realize (at first) and then don't really and fully comprehend (even though they "know" this intellectually) that 99.9% of the people around them can't even imagine what the twins simply *know* down to the very marrow of their bones: that the answer to the question, "are you a boy or a girl," can simply be yes.

Or no.

BTW, given the premise of this story, I'd make them identical twins, with the same exact genetic inheritance, even if at first only their grandmother suspected this might be the case. This (identical twins) could actually turn out to be quite common among the children of gender changers, as the genetic code in the just-fertilized egg finds itself trying to begin developing both as male and female at the time of the first cell division, leading to two babies developing.

This might even lead to some stories exploring gender issues in a more light-hearted way.

Beautiful

I love this story. You were right; very emotionally intense. But so real. I feel like I've felt many of the emotions you depicted. I truly, desperately hope I can find the kind of love that Zoe and Simone found. Please continue writing such beautiful stories.

Amazing

I like to read a lot of random stories on here, I try not to stick to any one genre. I stumbled upon your series and had no idea what to expect. But of every story I've ever read here, this is the only one that I've legitimately cared what happened. You're characters are awesome, and you did a great job of development. Just a great story from start to finish.

Absolutely stellar!

God dangit Zoe, you too? xD

Everyone calls me Daniel-san xD Stahp it xD.

But yeah, back to being serious, just wanting to thank you for giving me a more broad insight on the other gender, and drawing me into. No other type of these stories have really been getting my attention, yours have. If you ever decide to make another story, I would be delighted to review it :)

You're right, british guys do have a hard shell (and a stubborn attitude), but controlling it? Ha, don't think so. And here's why: Try out an online PvP game, get really good at it, join a public lobby with brits, and completely wreck them. Oh man they are the best ragers next after the Americans xD. It's much funnier hearing a brit yell "You fucking wanker, mate, I'm gonna fucking hack your account", rather than the other europeans, raging in their language.

But you british girls are the best. Your dialect... Such heaven :). When I'm quite stressed and need to relax I usually listen to ASMR (I know I'm that weird), and TheUKASMR (on Youtube) is just fantastic. Have you seen her? She's so yummy, could just eat her :].

Ohh Zoe, Zoe, Zoe, you got it all wrong. Don't you know? Fighters are especially resilient against distractions of all kinds. We are a completely different person when we fight. It's imperative to have a focused mind when fighting. If you have a good sensei, when you're sparring, he/she would usually do some weird movements and weird sounds besides you or behind you :). To help you stay focused and cool headed. Martial arts is not only fighting, it also includes mental health, and knowledge about physics and biology.

And you DO have atleast one major weakness, and that weakness greatly amplify every other weakpoint you have (there's a LOT of weakpoints on the human anatomy), your weakness is your size. Unless you're taller than 190 cm, and/or heavier than 79 kg, then I have the bigger physique :).

But you're right getting a connecting hit in my balls would take me down, well you need to get to my balls first. I could just shift into a side stance, actively defend (lifting and bending my front leg), and stay at range.

Unless you know how to successfully perform an offensive counterattack, you are not getting near me :). Now you do also have quite a few other easy to hit weapoints, such as your sciatic nerve, it's like the funny bone of your leg, hitting it sends a sharp pain through your entire leg (and your butt), and you wouldn't be able to put any weight on it. With only one leg to stand on, it's all over.

Or your Plexus Coeliacus, just below your chest. Hitting it would paralyze your diafragma (The muscle controls breathing), if you can't breathe you're done for :).

But please don't think I'm this trouble seeking bully. I really hate hurting people, and I've never used my training outside the Dojo, It's not only illegal, it's also extremely dangerous. Losing the temper and going ham on someone always ends badly.

Oh and now I remember; your amazing writing skills, made me consider making a traumatic love story (non erotic, I really don't know how to express myself in that sense), with myself as the deuteragonist, looking for a girl character as the protagonist, thought it would be appropiate, if it was you, I hope you don't mind :). Now do you know a place where I could write such a story?

I think a British teenage boy would sooner perform minor surgery on himself with a blunt knife than apologise - and frankly, we British girls like them that way. Our lads may have hard shells but they do have soft hearts and they take care of their own. An example would be Shia Laboeuf taking photos of a drunk girl being sick on the street in London last year. He refused to stop filming, so one of our brilliant British boys decked him.

I've never been to Denmark, but if I were to take you up on your offer, you might be surprised. My brother's a Royal Marine and he taught me self defense. And now that I know your weakness ...

I'd flash you my boobs, give you a kiss and knee you in the bollocks, mate! ;-) Ding ding, seconds out, round two!

Guys have so many weaknesses - so easily distracted by so many body parts, think with their dicks not their brains and have such an obvious external soft spot. Don't you know girls only have one weakness? ... shoes!!!

Oh, you can't edit, but you can ask the author (me) to delete your comments if you really want to. Edit just isn't an option, not even from my end. Your comments are fine though - perfectly understandable to anyone with a brain. You should try deciphering some of the shit people post on youtube and yahoo!
