"Don't you dare! I will figure its secrets out come hell or high water." She flicked a finger and it rose and floated across the room and settled down in the little containment field she had created for it. She stood up and flicked her tails in disgust. "Damn thing is going to drive me nuts damn it. I am about ready to toss you back to the human realm so you can find out what it is."
The two of them walked out of the room and the door shut behind them. In the containment field the ponytail holder was floating and it almost looked like it was smiling from a certain angle.

Maxd01's note: This was written as a fan fic by Payenbrant from Lit.com. He approached me about it and we finally decided he was going to do the base story. Once that was done he tossed it in my direction for edits and I tossed it back. We did this several times before we both were happy with the flow and dialogue. As a side note the time scale in this story is slightly off compared to the main version but it shouldn't be a big deal. Anyways please enjoy.

Clunketyalmost 9 years agoI swear I had this song from the Jungle Book in my head the whole time. My first relatable moment with Grover was when he went to go see Julia, but hoped Angie would answer because she seemed "safer." That was a great detail. Also there was a part near the end: "Giani poured out onto the forest floor..." What imagery! I had a little trouble in the middle keeping up with whose head I was in, sometimes omniscient POV is such a bitch. I'll say you did a fair job meshing the styles, but sometimes exclamation points can be so telling! ;-D
